Eucalyptus

Mostly found in Australia, eucalyptus uplifts the senses and reduces inflammation with its refreshing aroma.

Eucalyptus means "well covered", referring to the little cap that covers the flower before budding. One of the fastest growing trees in the world, it is often a key ingredient in perfumes and cosmetics because of its unique fresh scent.

Benefits
With antiseptic and anti-microbial properties, eucalyptus features a nice, fresh scent that is known to uplift the spirit. Diffusing a nice, fresh fragrance to any space, it also treats respiratory problems, relieves symptoms of common colds and used in aromatherapy.
History
Originating between 35-50 million years ago, indigenous Australians have used and are still using eucalyptus for many purposes. They used leaves and roots as treatments for many ailments, and plant them in marshlands to purify the soil of malaria-infested areas.
