Rice

A staple food for most of the world's population, rice provides energy and symbolizes abundance and success.

Originating from China, rice is the most important grain for human consumption. There are currently 40,000 varieties of rice that differ in size, texture, color and taste.

Fortified with complex carbohydrates which is a good source of energy, rice is also enriched with vitamins and minerals which are essential for the body, flawless skin and strong hair. Rice can be turned into various products such as flour, bran oil, syrup and milk.
History
Rice originated at least 130 million years ago as wild grass. All forms of Asian rice may have been first domesticated in the region of the Yangtze River valley in China. The rice that we know today may have only been cultivated in the last 10,000 years.
