Our Root

PAÑPURI, established in 2003, is deeply rooted in the rich heritage of Thai wellness traditions, dedicated to cultivating harmony across physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental well-being.

The story begins with a cherished childhood memory of founder Vorravit Siripark, who vividly recalls his grandmother gently infusing jasmine petals into an earthen jar of cool rainwater. This serene moment left a lasting impression, sparking his lifelong fascination with the transformative power of aroma and the timeless wisdom of Thai wellness practices.

Years later, after returning to Bangkok feeling world-weary and mentally fatigued, Vorravit found solace and inspiration in the same traditions that had shaped his childhood. This rediscovery became the foundation for PAÑPURI, a brand built on nurturing holistic harmony and recognizing the interdependence of all aspects of life—both within ourselves and in our connection to the world.

Eastern Inspiration

PAÑPURI draws deeply from the wisdom and serenity of Eastern traditions, creating products and experiences that honor the holistic approaches of the region. Each scent and wellness product tells a unique story inspired by Eastern rituals and landscapes, transporting customers to a world of balance and tranquility.

17th Century Siam

Palm Scriptures (Tamra Phra Osod Phra Narai, 1659) dating all the way back to the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, an ancient Siamese civilization (1351 to 1767), recorded age-old recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation of Thai healing and wellness.

From Heritage

Whether as tonics or ointments, each recipe in the Palm Scriptures emphasized the holistic balance of energy flow within our body and with the natural world. From our ancestors to our grandparents, Thai wellness traditions paid homage to the potency and vitality of nature with rituals using herbs, flower oils and crushed roots, and applied them through kneading hands along routes of energy.
